Is Our Lifestyle Is Correct??

Good health is important for everyone on earth to live a happy, contented and complete life. It is the greatest possession that anyone can have in their life. Good health is the foundation for the fulfillment of every other requirement in life. Maintaining good health is becoming increasingly difficult due to various factors. First and foremost factor is the changes taking place in the environment, the other is the different kinds of deadly diseases and epidemics that plague parts of the world and the changing lifestyles of humans. The third one is the habits and lifestyle of the individual.


Good-Health

The environment is becoming more and more polluted by human activities and changes in climatic conditions. People need pure water, air, and food for their living. When these basic requirements are under the thread, life on earth becomes extremely difficult. The quality of air people breath, the food they eat and the water they drink has degraded alarmingly. All kinds of pollutants are released into the atmosphere in large quantities and as a result, the air is filled with toxic and poisonous substances, gases and dust. Water and the food produced in agricultural farms and harmful to overall health because they are contaminated. Overuse of chemicals in the form of pesticides and fertilizers, in addition to the release of waste matters and oils into water sources, make water and food items injurious to health. Environmental consequences of climate change are too many to quote here. The climate change, together with other natural and human activities influences human health and disease in numerous ways. It seems some existing health threats will intensify and new health threats will emerge. In short climate changes have become a serious threat to the entire life on earth because of global warming, precipitation, extreme drought conditions, frequent floods and cyclones and the sea levels rising.


Exercise

The world is now faced with the problem of preventing, controlling and curing fatal disease like cancer, AIDS and the killer epidemics like swine flu, bird flu, and dengue. These diseases strike from time to time and take their toll in large numbers. The public is helpless because there are no medicines to fight these diseases. A person affected by any of these diseases dies without proper treatment. The number of people dying of cancer is increasing at an unprecedented rate. This killer disease can affect any part of the body and make life miserable for the individual, the family and their relatives. Some of these diseases are contagious and the others are not. Adequate preventive measures are not taken by the governments and the people in general to prevent these diseases. There is more than enough evidence to show that most of these diseases are the result of the changing lifestyle of the people.


Healthy-Life

It is a real blessing to born as a healthy human being without any physical or mental defect. To maintain good health throughout their life and to cope with the challenges of life and to enjoy life to the fullest people have to be careful about their lifestyle and their habits. A healthy lifestyle is important for everyone. When we look after our physical health, we feel better. We feel fitter, stronger, more relaxed and better able to hope with things. There are lots of ways of being healthy that feel good as well as doing you good. Eating junk food, smoking, immoral activities and drinking sugary drinks or alcohol are all harmful to health.

People have to be careful about what they eat or drink. They must also take enough physical exercise to keep their mind and body in good condition. ‘Healthy living’ means maintaining a healthy lifestyle and introducing habits that improve your health. It can be difficult to change old habits, but there are steps people can take become healthier and more useful individual to the society.
